These Riesling grapes come from old vines in the VDP. ERSTE LAGE (Premier Cru) "Burgweg". A delicate, yellow-fleshed Palatinate Riesling with plenty of spice and a high degree of minerality. The intense spice, the abundance of minerality and yellow aromas come from the rocky limestone on which these old vines stand. Intense scents of vineyard peach and apricot are accompanied by notes of wet stone and fine herbal spices. This scent continues in the taste and is rounded off by the typical salty note of the North Palatinate limestone.
