A labor of love: Just one barrel of Roter Traminer comes from the small, warm Ried Türken vineyard. The vineyard has been planted with Traminer for almost a hundred years; the current vines were planted in 1972.

The Red Traminer is the elegant relative of the Gewürztraminer. Despite its red and purple berries, it is a white grape variety whose captivating aroma is often reminiscent of rosewood.
