Characterized by coral limestone and the cool microclimate, this exceptional location is perfect for Burgundy grape varieties. Aromas of ripe apples, mirabelle plums, bergamot and almonds with a hint of herbal spice. Juicy fruit on the palate, paired with an elegant acidity. Tight-knit, salty minerality and harmonious texture. A wine that is already seductive, but is also made for long maturation.

Terroir: The former coral reefs of the primeval sea form the limestone soils of the Flamberg site in Sausal. The vines were planted on the steep slope between 1980 and 1985. Cool winds from the nearby Koralpe and the bowl-shaped slope at 350-430 meters above sea level have a lasting impact on the elegant, mineral Morillon.

Vinification: The grapes were carefully harvested by hand at the beginning of October, gently pressed with the stems and the juice fermented in large wooden barrels with the vineyard's own yeast.

Aging: 22 months on lees in large oak barrels

    Filtration:

    Contains Sulphites.
