An absolute standout terroir driven Sauvignon Blanc of Alto Adige, hailing from the Liebeneich Vineyard and named after the previous owners of the site.

Physiological ripeness, acidity and sugar levels are perfectly balanced in this otherwise challenging Vintage, giving the wine a cool freshness and ripe fruit, while maintaining moderate alcohol levels.

Terroir: The “Liebeneich” site at Terlan, a south-west facing
slope at an altitude of 300 m above sea level where
the micro climate is mild and breezy and soils are
porous with a high mineral content consisting of sand
and clay mixed with eroded porphyry.

Vinification: The grapes were de-stemmed, after which the juice
and solid parts (minus stalks) were left to macerate in
the press for twelve hours in order to leech from the
skins a maximum of aroma substances and extract.
Fermentation was spontaneous and took place in oak
using yeasts occurring naturally in the vineyard.

Aging: The young wine was matured in oak barrels on the fine lees for nine months to allow its aromas and flavour to develop.

Established in 1608 and still family-owned today, the winery is led by Count Michael Goëss-Enzenberg, who has transformed Manincor into one of Italy’s most progressive and quality-driven producers.

Every vineyard is cultivated according to biodynamic principles, emphasizing soil vitality, biodiversity, and cosmic rhythms to create wines that are pure expressions of their alpine terroir. The estate’s underground gravity-flow winery—hidden beneath the vineyards—reflects their commitment to sustainability and minimal intervention.
