The wines from the Steinbach vineyard are characterized by finesse and depth. They delight with balanced structure and complex aromas ranging from ripe fruit notes to subtle spicy nuances. The old vines grow on a sheltered, southwest-facing hillside at an altitude of 400-450 meters. Their diverse geological subsoil, consisting of sandstone, gravel conglomerate, and layers of marl and opok, lends the wines a fine minerality and depth.
