Old vines, gentle organic viticulture, and the special conditions of the Steinbach vineyard shape this expressive Sauvignon Blanc. The wine flows brilliantly clear into the glass and delights with a multifaceted aroma of ripe yellow fruits, vineyard peaches, fresh meadow herbs, and delicate mineral notes. On the palate, it's juicy, with an elegant acidity structure and a vibrant finish. Excellent aging potential!
The wines from the Steinbach vineyard are characterized by finesse and depth. They delight with balanced structure and complex aromas ranging from ripe fruit notes to subtle spicy nuances. The old vines grow on a sheltered, southwest-facing hillside at an altitude of 400-450 meters. Their diverse geological subsoil, consisting of sandstone, gravel conglomerate, and layers of marl and opok, lends the wines a fine minerality and depth. The vineyard's special microclimate, characterized by warm sunshine and cool nights, promotes the slow and even ripening of the grapes. This unique environment is further enhanced by flower meadows, orchards, and mixed forests that harmoniously cluster around the vineyards and promote biodiversity. The result is a wine that not only captures the aromas of the terroir but also reflects the history and natural balance of this site.
